Found Paradise

We finally found our little paradise in Raglan, a small surfer town on the west coast of the north island of New Zealand. Here we can kitesurf and surf as much as we like. The longest lefthand wave on the planet breaks here, if the conditions are right. The little bach we are renting is located in native bush, a ten minute walk from the beach/surfspot. We are surrounded by bush with the typical huge New Zealand ferns and the cicadas singing all day long. Nowhere else in the world have I heard this sound so intense and loud. Nina and the kids live 45 min. away and Sven is in Auckland, 2 ½ hours away. It’s a great little spot and we decided that it can’t get any better, so we will stay here for almost all the rest of our stay in New Zealand, until the 6th of March. Pictures will follow...
